We carry out business based on the scientific findings and data by taking benefit of the experiences of the steel manufacturers in Europe that we deal with our technical staff in QTS. We see supply of quality material and service supply and decreasing production cost in moulding as our initial target.
The needs of our customers are being sensitively and rapidly with our saws having various cutting capacity, vacuum hardening and gas nitration furnaces that are located in our plant.
Tool steels are the main steels that are used for processing and shaping of the materials. The use of the tool steels having % 8 rate in total steel production shows increase day by day. The classification of steel materials as tool steels is made only towards the intended use. Classification or limitation according to the chemical composition in tool steels is not possible like other steel groups. Because both the chemical composition may change in very wide ranges and may intersect with the other steel groups.
Heat Treatment is the general name of the processes applied for the purpose of improving the mechanical properties (hardness, resistance etc.) of the metals. It is a type of metallurgical process. In general sense it is made by means of bringing the metals to the desired phase by tempering at a certain temperature.
Then after the metal is cooled suddenly and by this way the grains are confined in a phase which is not a balance phase thermodynamically at room temperature. This phase is generally a phase in which the material display superior mechanical properties.
